After a considerable amount of time spent fumbling about with my Elgato HD I finally figured out how to switch back and forth between my Xbox 360 and Xbox One without having to rewire my entire house. Granted all it came down to was attaching the right HDMI plug to the right HDMI input, but I prefer to think of my discovery as an engineering marvel not matched since Edison first figured out the incandescent lightbulb. It truly was a staggering discovery. When I finally realized that my HDMI wire had accidentally come unplugged and I basically attached everything backwards, the feeling of genius was simply staggering. So with my newly constructed daisy-chain of wires precariously connected and barely on this side of safe I offer up a quick look at some of the differences between the original Dark Souls 2 game and From Software’s new remastered Scholar of the First Sin edition. As a fan of the series playing both games side by side is not only a fun way to gauge the two games’ differences but it’s also a great way to kill some of that confounding time that keeps crowding up my days. Filthy hours; get a job. Enjoy.
